Dr. Henry Sobo believes in continually educating and enhancing his skills as a practicing physician. Most recently he completed a two-year course of study, achieving certification with The Biologic Medicine Network.Dr. Sobo’s commitment to a nutritional/holistic approach in medicine is attested to by his affiliation with a number of national physician organizations. He has been a member of The American Academy of Environmental Medicine and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He supports the growth of complementary medicine through his affiliation with the American Association for Health Freedom and the Foundation for Innovative Medicine.
Dr.Sobo’s on going research and study resulted in his regularly attending nutritionally-oriented medical conferences. At these meetings, he reviews the latest information regarding natural, non-toxic methods of healing with leading physicians and researchers around the world.Dr. Sobo has been a lecturer both locally and nationally. He has been a guest on Gary Null’s radio program“Natural Living”, as well as a member of a physicians panel, recently featured on PBS.Dr. Sobo has also authored numerous articles for publication, including the peer-reviewed journal “The Bariatrician.”

Dr. Sobo was raised in Brooklyn, New York and he graduated from Brooklyn College. He began his medical training at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and completed it at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, New York. Dr. Sobo completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
