Dr. Josh Sandell

Dr. Josh Sandell has always been interested insports and sports medicine. His early education regarding the human body and the variety of ways injuries could be repaired or avoided gave him a focus for his career. Dr. Sandell’s experience and education caused him to expand his practice far beyond that of a normal chiropractic practice. He understands that the integration of the nervous system, the muscular system, and the skeletal system, is the key to pain relief and injury repair. Dr. Sandell’s experience has had him working with participants in every major sport from soccer, football, rugby, gymnastics, hockey, to the Winter Olympics.

As the Chief Clinical Officer/Sports Medicine Specialist at Orthogy, Inc in Minnesota, Dr. Sandell helps many people, professional athletes as well as “weekend warriors.”He holds positions as Medical Advisor with United Healthcare Group as well as other organizations. Dr. Sandell is also the Sports Medicine Specialist for the Minnesota Vikings NFL team. Due to his close working relationship with Vikings team members, he has garnered a strong reputation as an expert at getting players back on the field with a minimum amount of downtime and avoiding further injury. Dr. Sandell is well known not only for his “hands-on” approach to therapy but also for his numerous lectures on sports medicine and the interaction of the various parts of human anatomy.

Dr. Sandellgraduated fromthe University of Minnesota with a BS in Exercise Physiology and went on to receive a BS in Human Biology from Northwestern Health Sciences University.  He was also awarded his Doctor of Chiropractic at Northwestern.  Since then, Dr. Sandell has furthered his specialty of Sports Medicine with numerous certifications.
